CYM Field Trip to the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre- Don Quixote- April 13

 

CYM Families, join us for our final Field Trip of the school year- Don Quixote at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre on Sunday, April 13th at 2:00pm.  

This time around, as an added benefit to our group rate, the more tickets ordered through our CYM group will result in even lower ticket prices. If more than 40 tickets are sold to our group, the rates will drop significantly.   Be sure to invite your family and friends to join us for this great trip.

CYM Pianists Win Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society's Practice Challenge with Peter Serkin

The winners of the PCMS with Peter Serkin Practice Challenge and their teachers.

This past Sunday evening, CYM piano students Jayne Miner and Lakshmi Mulgund, and their teacher, Ms. Simmi Tripathi, were honored for their participation in a 20 day practice challenge, sponsored by the Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society. Challenge winners won tickets to see Grammy nominated pianist  Peter Serkin at Carnegie Music Hall. We are so proud of you!  

CYM at Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms with Helene Grimaud and the PSO

CYM Chamber Musicians Ms. Elisabeth Graham, Annie Chimera, Alexandra Schnatterly, and Julia Freeman Heinz Hall this past Sunday.

Congratulations to our Chamber Musicians and student musicians for their excellent pre-concert performance this past Sunday, February 2nd at the Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms concert featuring Helene Grimaud and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra.

We hope all of our CYM families who attended the field trip to this performance enjoyed the concert and the pre-concert talk!
