Solo Recital Reminder for Saturday Families

 CYM’s annual all school Solo Recital

will be held next Saturday, May 5th. 

All recitals are held in the Marshall Middle School auditorium.  The cello and guitar recital is at 11:00 am, the piano recital at 1:00 pm, and the violin recital at 3:00 pm.  

There will be no Saturday classes held that day to allow all students to take advantage of the wonderful opportunity to see music education in action.

This recital is a chance for parents to not only see and hear the different instruments but also to see what their children will be doing in just a few months or years.   

For all parents and students in the Twinkler Transtion this is an opportunity for your child to get to see all the instruments and decide which instrument calls to them. All children are welcome at the recital for as long they can remain quiet, and parents can feel free to quietly slip out during applause when their child has seen and heard as much as he or she can.

Music Discovery Camp 2012 Registering Now!

CYM is registering now for Music Discovery Camp for Summer 2012!

CYM students between the ages of 3 and 7 are encouraged to attend and will receive a discounted camp rate. Have a friend or family member interested in music? Invite them to join the fun!

A $25 discount is also applied to non-CYM families who submit their registration before May 15.

Faculty Community Concert this Evening at 7:00 pm

Join us this evening for the second of a three concert series in collaboration with the Passavant Hospital Foundation for Concerts in Community, held at the Legacy Theater at Cumberland Woods.

Fall 2012-2013 Enrollments Due May 31!

It is that time of year again! 

If you are a current CYM family, you should have received a white packet in the mail containing everything you need to register for the Fall 2012-2013 School Year. Your registration forms should look something like this:

The official deadline for turning in forms is May 31, however, we honor lesson time requests in the order we receive them. Meaning, the sooner you turn in your forms, the more likely you'll achieve the lesson time you requested!
