We are delighted to announce that with the commencement of our 18th school year, the Center for Young Musicians is opening its doors in Pittsburgh's beautiful Shadyside neighborhood. Located on the lovely Winchester Thurston School city campus, classes at CYM are open to everyone.
This Fall, CYM’s Monday- Saturday class schedule includes weekly classes during and after the school day, and Saturday mornings. Early Childhood Music group classes will introduce 2-5 year olds to the beginnings of music, American Legends group classes offer instruction for those students ages 5-8 just beginning as musicians and serving as a foundational music course for those already playing an instrument. Private lessons are offered for all children ages 5 and up (even the young at heart- adults are welcome, too!) for piano, violin, viola, cello, and guitar.
